Sharing the joy of Indian cooking

I was so happy when this evening of collective cooking came about – totally accidental. Gesa, Mike and I together cooked an Indian dinner – palak paneer, cracked wheat and lentil khichadi, carrot salad and kheer. This was probably their first experience in an Indian kitchen at a home. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening!

Have you ever seen the gas top blue instead of red? We couldn’t believe it either. That’s Gesa and I in the picture, Mike was very generous to be our photographer for the evening.

I hope Mike and Gesa will feel good when they try the palak paneer at their home.
